“Penang is one of the leading medical tourism destinations in Southeast Asia due to its stellar infrastructure, facilities and proficient healthcare providers. This positions Penang as a highly potential location for standard international medical conferences that will further improve the quality of healthcare in this state. To date, we have supported nearly 57 medical conferences in Penang. And to move forward, we have put our full speed into action by bringing more medical conferences to Penang” cited Ashwin GunasekeranCEO of PCEB.

“As medical tourists seek to improve their health, they also have the opportunity to relax and see places they have never been before and, in return, gain memories they will never forget. Therefore, Penang always strives to offer the best hospitality to travelers in terms of culture, heritage, nature and not to mention the amazing gastronomic experience” said Yeoh Soon Hin in his speech.
