Hawaii Community Enjoys Onizuka Exploration Day at Pearl Harbor Museum of Flight

HONOLULU (KHON2) – The Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum hosted an Onizuka Exploration Day on Saturday, April 23.

The Liberty Jump team shared the history of aviation infantry and also held airborne ground demonstrations. Museum visitors could also admire the WWII C-47 Skytrain

There were also WWII re-enactors and a WWII veteran.

Boy Scouts and Marines practiced their flag-folding skills on flags that were flown on the USS Arizona memorial for the 80th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attacks.

The 80th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attacks was performed online on December 7, 2021.

Scouts were also able to earn aviation badges in various courses run by the museum.
